Stopover in Seoul, South Korea

This is a view of Incheon Airport, Seoul, South Korea where we will stopover on 18 May 2010 on our journey to Madrid. Incheon Airport won the award for the Best International Airport of 2009.

The award was based on surveys carried out by SKYTRAX involving responses from over 8 million air passengers and covering nearly 200 airports worldwide.


In congratulating Incheon on winning the award, Skytrax CEO Edward Plaisted said:



“Incheon is an airport that has been in the global top five ranking for the World Airport Awards during the past five to six years, and it is a great achievement for them to secure this premier mark of customer satisfaction.”

Welcome

Welcome to all our new followers.


It certainly seems to have been a good move to allow anybody to comment as all the comments now appear to be getting through.


The dead zone of course will be from now until mid May but after that date the news should pick up with reports and pics of our trip.


Any Spanish speakers are, of course, not only more than welcome but positively encouraged.  That is Spanish speakers that are not presently included as our good friends (like Sofía and Alonso).


Will keep you all up todate on small details during the dead zone.

Follow up on making comments to posts

Apparently Google (who run the Blogger sites) have far too many left hands. Consequently, it is very difficult to make a setting that only allows 'Followers' of the blog to make comments. Although Google says that Follower = Member this does not seem to be correct.. So we have set our blog so that anyone can comment. Hopefully this will avoid the frustrations which many of our small group of friends and relatives have experienced. If not then ...

It is still a good idea to follow the Blog so that each then has the facility to send individual  messages to the any of the others. If spam or other such nuisances become a problem then simple blocking or deletion may be all that is needed. 

Advice on posting Comments

Firstly, you need to be a member (ie a Follower of our Blog).

Secondly, you need to sign in by clicking on the sign in button in the 'Followers' Box.

You should then be able to comment on any Post or on any Comment
